Kavanaugh accuser wants a full FBI investigation before she testifies

They are also charged with background checks and virtually endless associated infractions that are not prosecutable crimes, federal or otherwise.

They have... six times if I heard correctly.

The FBI VERY MUCH cares about "drunken parties" during background checks.
Illegal drug use during HS or other times is an automatic disqualifier for Federal Judgeship and most other Federal Positions requiring a background check.

Not when those parties are during teenage years and no evidence of alcoholic behavior happens since. Kavanaugh was legal drinking age back then (18), and I haven't seen any claims of "illegal drugs"... only alcohol. I'm sure there was a footnote in the prior background checks mentioning that he was a bit of a lush in high school, but had not demonstrated such tendencies since.

I grew up in the 70s... if partying was a disqualifier, there would be an entire generation of individuals ineligible for any kind of clearance.

Getting back on the horse is always 80% mental anyways.

Mentally, I never got off. Everything you mentioned I have been doing the whole time (even had my laptop brought to the hospital, lol). I'm just running out of things to get ready for...

I am not against kavanaugh being scotus at all. But you don't know this.

You never met the man, you are not with him at all hours of the day. Anyone is capable of anything.

If your going to say well just look at his career I would counter with just look at christines career .

Both her and kavanaugh at face value appear to be educated, moral upstanding citizens.

That's why I say let the courts decide.

That is their only play at this point.

It allows them to continue the claims.

Now what I think the GOP will do if that happens....they will tell the Maryland PD to handle the investigation. The left wants the FBI but the FBI has already said they dont have any reason to. Makes me wonder why the left haven't taken the Maryland PD up on their offer to do so yet....

Decide what exactly? She hasn't filed a report of any kind with any law enforcement agency.

Do you even wonder why she hasn't? Possibly the legal ramifications of filing a false report have something to do with it?

She HAS made a public claim for which Kav could go after her, but I have a feeling he would not and just let it drop. He understands she would be in for a world of hurt even without him pressing charges and in the long run.....she really doesnt matter enough to spend the time or money to do that.
