Oh, it is just a coincidence, they could have been anybody's missiles. This is the city that hosts Russia's air force base. As far as the attack on Latakia, Syrians have said it was Israelis, and that missiles came from the sea. As well, the US Navy has denied any and all involvement in this retaliation. This attack followed mere hours after Russia and Turkey agreed to setup a demilitarized zone in Idlib.

Syrian air defenses have engaged missiles targeting the area of Latakia, a city in the coastal province that is the home of Russia’s Khmeimim Air Base. Seven people were reportedly injured in the attack.

According to the state SANA news agency, the attack targeted the Technical Industries Agency headquarters in Latakia, owned by the Syrian military. Reports from the area refer to “powerful explosions” heard in the city. According to Syrian military sources, the strikes also targeted a power station and an aluminum factory.

The attack began around 10 pm local time. Photos posted on social media show tracers and missile plumes streaking across the night sky above Latakia, as well as several explosions.

Hey guys, in case you did not realize it, it is open warfare between Russia, USA, Israel, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, most of NATO(support), Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the GCC(support) ... and it seems North Korean has not cooled off entirely yet, with China posturing that they will become involved as well.

A YouTube video said Russian missiles hit a US base.

Could have been the Syrian government, or rebels could have stolen the missiles and did this as a last ditch effort to escalate western involvement.

I don't trust the MSM as the end all be all, but doubting them doesn't constitute listening to large claims that others have made in spite.
