Meme magic is real and it is working. This whole "white power" ok sign symbol thing started on 4chan as a joke/meme, with the purpose of actually getting to this state. The fact that it's now actually happening shows that not only are the masses super gullible, but that meme magic is indeed a thing influencing our world.

It actually started before the 4-chan thing.

You mean the Mexican woman who flashed the OK sign? Zina Bash was born in Mexico and his half Mexican half Jewish. This is exactly the stuff that has people laughing at liberals.

The entire white power thing with the OK sign is a troll by 4chan, they made the whole thing up.

I know it was made up by 4chan, but the thing is, when politicians are flashing it on TV, it obviously means more than a joke on 4chan.

Similar logic would be saying that burning crosses is just a symbol of Christianity. After all, that's where the cross comes from, of course lol. Why should snowflake liberals mind if the Klan burns crosses in front of their house? lol

Well it seems to me, that when a group hijacks an innocuous hand signal to advertise their brand, people shouldn’t be surprised when they have pay a penalty.

So to answer your poorly framed question. Yeah, this is the world I want.

Im sick of people forcing me to stop using and displaying things because they have hijacked them. From rainbows to rebel flags. And now the a ok sign.

Oddly enough, I just watched a documentary on bobby Kennedy. He used that sign a lot.

In case you haven’t noticed, it is rwnj’s that have a habit of doing this. From green frogs to hand signals they prove over and over how easily manipulated and insecure they are. a reply to: Kuroodo

Ah no. It's not like that at all. It's like you accuse a Mexican-Jewish woman who was born in Mexico of being a white power nationalist for an OK sign. It would be like you call everyone wearing a cross around their neck of being a KKK member. You realize how stupid that would be?

No one hijacked anything.

No one "hijacked" anything.

Some people use hand signs to mean one thing, while others use the exactly sign to mean something else entirely. Those two groups could be separated by thousands of miles, or hundreds of years, or both.

There is a physical limit to how many signs the human hand, or hands, are capable of making. There are bound to be duplicates at some point, don't you think?

Hijacked? Not so much.

Too bad, they are just angry because they either 1) are frightened by it (because they know what it means), 2) are angered by our large outpouring of support or 3) aren't Statist sheep-people like them and actually have the ability to enforce-by-any-means our god-given sovereign unalienable rights.

Statist/globalists would hate that. For the same reasons they hate our second amendment and our right to speak out against their lies/misinformation.

Wrong. Completely wrong. Way, way off. Totally missed the mark there.

We don't have to "pay any penalty." I don't give a damn who else uses the same hand gestures I use, that is their right just as it is my right to use them. It is also my right to use them without your permission, approval or even understanding of what the signal means.

...and you still don't get it.

It is 3% solidarity. It is a not-very-subtle warning to the anti-American anti-Constitutional forces. A warning that emphasizes Article 4 Section 4 United States Constitution. Read up.

You're the only one who sounds insecure. You are attacking a simple hand gesture, in your typical leftist race-baiting fashion.

99% of this country doesn't give a damn about your race baiting issues. Our beliefs, daily thoughts, daily conversations, political motivations, and even funny hand gestures do not involve race. They have nothing to do with race. In case you missed that part, it is the left that is absolutely obsessed and engrossed with the litany of divisive wedge issues you and others bring to the table.

...I care far more about the national debt, helping the middle class, severely shrinking government, cutting all government handout "programs," protecting the Constitution and absolutely obliterating socialism/communism/globalism/statism around the world. Race baiting BS isn't even a blip on my radar. I don't vote for "race" issues. I don't think about race. I don't care about race

I do not think we will ever know either way in this case.

Even if he was sitting there chatting with people and said watch me troll these folks then made the gesture the cg will keep it under wraps along with any punishment.

www.psychologytoday.com...

Here are 8 reasons.

In summary, there are a lot of reasons that people post awful things online, and unfortunately, characteristics of online interaction make this a popular context for offensive chatter. Engaging in a comment war probably won’t curb anyone's behavior, but there are some things you can do to manage these types, which I will address in a future article. . .

The number one reason imo is because they want fish for dinner.

Should they even be allowed to call themselves liberals anymore? There's absolutely nothing liberating about what they are doing these days. That word needs to be taken back.

I mean in this instance. How would the coast guard member be trolling for doing something normal and natural that everyone does.

It is all in the thread.

It all depends on his intent and that is for the cgi to decide.

Members are not allowed to interact with the media unless authorized and if he was throwing a thumbs up sign at the camera it would be the same case.

The reason for this is many but the prevailing one is so that a message is not put forth that gives the public any unofficial sense of anything.

They probably didn't like the guy anyway and found an excuse.
