No He didn't create a special place for you, that's ignorance and a typical atheist rant

Of course he did, Raggedy. Revelations 20:10-15. God obviously created it, and it's purpose is spelled out very plainly in those verses. Therefore, God has created a special place for those who don't love him as he commanded them to.

I really don't see much free will or choice in that. Love me, or I'll curse you to spend eternity in the lake of fire with Satan, the beast, the false prophet, and all the other heathens that didn't love me.

He just wants us to lose the ego because that's what made the garden intolerable. They never got the memo from Jesus about that third commandment to crucify the ego even though he kept repeating himself. If mankind evolves and overcomes that, then he can help us. He's making a point right now with Trump and that's the poster child, or man of sin, revealed. All he wants is a bit less worshipping of ourselves and forcing others to also worship our image. Trump is forcing the whole world to accept his image and Pence is right behind him with another image we are being forced to worship also. So if we're cool on those two things, I think that's all he really wants. The Love part will come naturally when you see him like he really is instead of this false image you've been forced to believe.

Perhaps God wants us to do what is right because it's right and leads to good things and right things, not because He's selfish.

After all, yes, God wants us to love Him, but He also wants us to love ourselves and each other too. That hardly sounds selfish to me.

i've been with God ten thousand times & the only thing God wants is your love. God showed me that the earth is run by Satan which is the guard force put in place in Genesis to keep mankind from interfering with The Tree of Eternal Life & The Tree of Knowledge. The guard force leads people into chaos & struggle till they die, & God watches & then saves your soul. God says that souls learn a lot from witnessing the evils on the earth, & God says the earth is a school that all young souls are sent to at some time. God says we are all judged after we die, & people who are evil are made to pay for their sins. God makes me watch people being judged & thrown into The Lake of Fire in Hell. And God takes me to Heaven to see The Angels & Saints.

God wants your unconditional love & will instantly forgive you & love you if you repent your evils & love God. So don't go hating God just because life has been cruel to you.

God started coming to me when i was a tiny child & when i tell Christians that i have met God in person they all say that no one can meet God that way. But i read in The Bible where Jesus says that He & The Father Will Manifest to us. So I believe Jesus & not Christians

God is the loving parent. So when God says love me or you will go to hell etc etc, it simply means listen to your father or you will go astray & destroy your own self. It is not that God is some ego nut. Your ego will vanish when you are brought before God. Because you will realise you are a nothing. Not even a spec of dust compared to God. You are a zero with a billion zeros after it. LOl. No seriously you are a complete nothing compared to God. But God will help you become a something if you regard Him as your parent & love Him.

Where in revelations or the bible does it say hell was created for humanity?
That special place is your choice, you decide to be with God or not
Where in the bible does it say human punishment in hell is eternal

God doesn't say love me or I will curse you, He says love me or You will leave my presence, He will,separate Himself from you
Why should God put up with disobedient people, why should God reward evil
Where in the bible do you read hell for humans is eternal

It's just sad you believe what other people tell you and then perpetuate others teachings because you have no mind of your own

I understand what you're getting at, but I didn't say anything about God wanting love being selfish. We all want love. I was talking about the illusion of choice and free will in the bible.

I've missed you Raggedy. Believe it or not.

Now who's pretending to know what they're talking about?
If you had actually read the verses, and read my post, you'd know I said nothing about, nor was I talking about, an eternal hell. The verses reference the "lake of fire". Here, put your spectacles on...

Revelation 20:10 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelation 20:15 - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Whatever you believe the lake of fire to be is irrelevant, and doesn't change the fact that there is indeed a special place created for those who do not love him. Biblically, free will and choice are illusory.

God has taken me to Hell a few times to watch people being judged & then thrown off the cliff into The Lake of Fire. I have to watch them burning in agony & it seems so unfair to me. I spoke back to God a couple of times & He picked me up & threw me into The Lake of Fire as well. I was burning for a half an hour or so & then God lifted me out.

So God can take you out of The Lake of Fire if He wants to. But never talk back to God. Just keep your mouth shut & observe what He is teaching you

Why does god want i believe is a better question for today.

God wants for nothing.
God is all that is..............there is nothing other than God.

There is only presence...........it is always the present............no one can escape the present...........why has this not been noticed?
Even if thoughts about the past or future happen..............they happen presently.

But if you have made an idol (a pretend thing) of yourself and believe in that then there will be suffering. You will continually worry about what you did or will do.
Stop imagining 'yourself in time'...................and you will know peace that surpasses understanding.
God will never separate you from him.......nothing can escape what is present.....it just needs recognising!

The present is all seeing and all knowing......it is self actualising.

There isn't really any thing individual.................so there isn't really any people divided from God.
God is a word that means 'all that is'.

There maybe an idea that there are things separate to God (all that is)..........but that does not mean that the idea is true.

Why believe? Surely belief and doubt go hand in hand.

Doesn't 'your' God expect you to be kind? And love your neighbour?

What would an omnipotent being, whose form is not of man, an will can shape the while universe to what it see fit would want?
