>Can't you see that Americans are being deceived and manipulated at the highest levels? That manipulated markets, gun and health laws in America are
attritional rather than protective?
Hey listen here buddy I don't come to Europe and slap the Muslims foot out of the Popes mouth so stop obsessing over us. We're actually doing great
in America the last 2 years and we weren't doing great for the previous 8 when you were told we were prospering.
America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. As far as personal liberty, it is literally the least 'free' country on the planet.
America has the highest number of gun deaths in the world, despite their being other countries with a higher gun ownership per capita. This shows
there is an innate psychology of gun crime and gun suicide in the US population.
America has drug problems that are worsening and shows that the current attempts to reduce harm are ineffective. Despite that, the government is not
looking at alternate ways to reduce the problem but is throwing money and resources into the provably ineffective ways.
The nominal median income per capita of Americans (as at 2017 from PINC-01 table US Census Bureau) was only $31,786. Meanwhile, GDP is nearly twice
that. This means that more than half the population in the US are living in poverty.
Homelessness in the US has risen since 2017 and is a perpetual problem where minimum wages have stayed mostly the same for years, accommodation costs
have continued to multiply and demand for housing outstrips supply.
In America, gun ownership is a 'right' but healthcare, food and shelter appear to be commercial opportunities where people are currently dying from
being unable to afford them.
America's GDP per capita growth closely correlates to that of other economies and is ranked at 11th in the world (or 13th if you go by CIA
figures).
While the current administration does have a few good figures to show off, these have been achieved by stealing the funding from other areas. This
type of 'bait and switch' PR risks significant financial instability.
America is not 'doing great'.
