My love of the blues and early rock music has inspired me to create tribute illustrations.

It was suggested that I consider putting them together in a book.

Some of the other musicians I'm working on include:
Mississippi Fred McDowell

Howling Wolf

Blind Lemon Jefferson

Blind Willie McTell

Blind Boy Fuller

Matt Guitar Murphy

Ma Reiney
Ledbelly
Skip James

Scrapper Blackwell & Leroy Carr
William Brown
Memphis Minnie

Sleepy John Estes
James Cotton

Little Walter

Here are a couple of the pieces I have done. I'm quite pleased with how they have been turning out.
My plan is to have enough completed to create a 30-50 page book.
I'm thinking of doing an Indiegogo campaign to help raise the money for printing, plus support a related charity.

Hope you guys like them.

One of the best ones, although there's many. He's still alive and was a guest member of the band fairly recently on Steven Colbert. (I hope you don't mind my putting a vid here?)

Anyway, with or without him, I think the book is a fantastic idea! I would buy them as gifts for my blues loving friends, and one for me.

Cool. I'll check when I get home. If you're down and depending how much you charge I can think of a couple dozen originals I would like actually.

I'll talk to you

PM me your info my uncle is a blues musician that has played with some of the greats and I’m sure he’d love one of those prints. BTW anyone wants to check out a white boy with the blues check out the Andy T Band.

Oh by all means, he's a given.

I started with Son House since history tells us that he was one of Robert's teachers

Scrapper Blackwell and Leon Carr.
These two were a huge influence on the tone of Chicago Blues
