Less guarded than there were more people there than we saw. It was pretty crappily guarded that we saw, but there were almost certainly people and guards that we didn't see in the buildings. Especially with what I've heard was going on. It's not the kind of thing they're only going to have a rent a cop and that's all guarding it.

Yeah. That part- it doesn't sit right with me. Unless a place is completely abandoned, you will always see or hear signs of life. I'm leaving off animals and birds, just meaning people. Someone, somewhere should have randomly wandered by, ESPECIALLY with people out and about in a place they shouldn't be.

Unless they were told to stay indoors, and hidden. Now why- especially if the investigation was already done, is odd. If there WAS an ongoing investigation, the last thing the people doing the investigating want is a bunch of random dipwits screwing up possible evidence or clues. Or, getting hurt/ dead while being dimwits. Or, randomly breaking stuff, either on purpose or accidentally. It comes down to one word: LIABILITY, either for the whoever running an investigation, or the owners of the observatory. No one likes a lawsuit. The chances of it happening increased with every person that wandered in-

Unless they are all officially allowed in. Then, control can be had on who does what. I think 'scripted' sounds dramatic, but in a technical sense, yes. Scripted to do and wander and such.

Meh not much compared to Damascus, AR one dropped socket a couple dead missile maintenance workers and a thermonuclear warhead shot a quarter mile out of the silo

yeah... we were told about some of the bad things that happen when you drop stuff in a plane, BESIDES Being sent to prison for an untold amount of centuries for wrecking a pilot.

What happened to any failsafes for working on something like that, anyways?

It wasn't an investigation. They were moving something. Or at least that's what it looks like anyway.

My argument still stands- moving something, investigating, holding a "Miss CIA Nude" contest- what's with the supposedly random people wandering up afterwards? Where is anyone at all? I do think I know why this is sticking in my mind suspiciously.

About 50 or so pages back, a motorcyclist posted pics of some cars at the gate. Supposedly, a day or a few later, some 'random' people showed up and made that Youtube vid. I remember seeing the *same* off blue/ grey either Toyota or Nissan in both the pic *and* the vid. Oddly enough, while supposedly both happened on diff days, the car seems to be in the same exact spot.

I think that might be where I unconsciously began to have things add up into the wrong column.

They're covering up something for sure. Even a murder investigation would have been done by now.

I'm suspicious on the how and why at this point.

Also- considering the place is 2 hours behind me timewise (12:30 here)- How come no official opening statement from them yet?

Hi. Long time lurker (page 15), first time poster. I have to say, I was never a frequenter of this website, but I've added myself because of the fact that this thread has been so collaborative, civil, and on track (unlike a few others). I've been checking practically every few hours since way back when we were on page 15. I've learned about solar flares, coronal holes, geomagnetic storms, outside espionage, and a slew of other things that have captivated my mind. I'm hooked and I'm looking forward to contributing in some ways moving forward.

I actually can see how they could have done it when people wouldn't see them around. It wouldn't take a big team, and once the external portions were removed, they'd be out of sight almost the entire time after, except going building to building if they had to. It wouldn't be really hard to do.

And yeah, they botched this in a big way.

Complain down below me I kid, I kid we had to keep up the healthy banter or we would have all been taken away by the nice men in white uniforms to those nifty padded rooms we were going stir crazy and it kept the thread alive with interest flowing it’s been a great thread with not much thread drift and not off in the rhubarb political BS just the boys (and others) shooting the ish. I apologize if we took away from your conspiracy pleasure, I feel I contributed enough solid content to be able to drift some. Kick back and enjoy the show and welcome to ATS sorry didn’t mean to seem too short.

www.rt.com...

Hmmm. I gotta see if I can get the explanation right:

"When it comes to the #SunspotObservatory bullied closure scandal, let’s see, what will the govs cover story be? Let’s guess together: swamp gas? Chinese spies? Russian spies? Just a private FBI employee educational outing? Jupiter? Terrorists from Venus? Weather balloons…;0)"

Chinese weather balloons filled with Russian swamp gas reflected the light from Venus onto Jupiter, which then magnified and reflected it into the eyes of an FBI agent trying to arrest a terrorist who was trying to steal his donuts.

After distractions, I got to read the whole article. Either they saw my posts in here, or this is a common thought:
"On the other hand, one more theory could be creative PR on the part of the Observatory. “With the excitement this closure has generated, we hope you will come and visit us as we reopen, and see for yourself the services we provide for science and public outreach in heliophysics,”Sunspot Observatory's website states. The facility has reportedly even hired private security to handle the expected increase in tourist activity at the site in the wake of the bizarre episode."

Believe it or not, those motorcyclist pics, the drone video, and the guy doing the walkthrough video happened simultaneously.
