OK, Elon is starting to worry me. And don't give me any crap because the source is Breitbart:

Tesla Chief Accounting Officer Dave Morton Resigns After One Month

Tesla's CFO has quit after only a month on the job, and its HR chief has also quit after taking an extended leave. The latest in a string of executive departures.

I personally suspect that Tesla has been cooking its books, and the new CFO is running away before he gets his fingerprints on too many things.

Meanwhile, Elon has now been spotted smoking dope on a podcast, and he is reportedly about to get sued for calling that cave diver a pedophile. And they've still got that SEC investigation for stock market manipulation, due to Musk's previous claims about having the funding to take the company private (but he didn't).

I'm seriously wondering if Musk is going to do something drastic, like kill himself and/or burn down the Tesla factory.

Tesla is in a downward spiral.
Kinda like a turd in the toilet.

Bankruptcy will follow soon after but I doubt he will get the same heat other rich folks get when their companies file bankruptcy "cough, trump, cough"
But when it finally goes down musk will still be filthy rich.

And he's being praised in a thread just a few down from yours.

You do realize its possible for an investment seeker type business man to own a portfolio of companies, perhaps dozens or more, and that if one of those companies gets into a bankruptcy situation its not inherently the same as if the 'person' or the persons primary umbrella parent company does so? Apparently not a "liberal" one understood this reality all during 2016 etc.

Musk is deeply, personally involved in Tesla. If it fails, it's going to be a crushing blow to him. I don't see him as the kind of guy who'll simply shrug it off and move on.

BB has an article showing this weirdo taking the pot. I always say that dope makes stupid people dumber.

People do some crazy things, but I am quite confused as to why you think he would try to kill himself. You have no personal access to the man and have no way of knowing what he is thinking or what his motivations are.

And burn down the factory?

What? Why?

Why would you even think of that?

Because he smoked some weed and called someone a pedo?

If that's the case, most of the people in the "Q" thread should be on suicide/arson watch.

I know right? I bet in the next year Joe Rogan and Elon Musk are homeless for their decisions on "taking the pot".

Self righteous much?

"I don't think it's a good idea, so if other people do it, they are stupid and will only get dumber". That's me pretending to be you.

All i see it as is a re-hash if the original Tesla saga... bankers and investors putting revenue and returns over anything beneficial to humanity.

i guess its the Amerikan way to only do anything if you can make money off it.

The weed thing is totally blown out of proportion. One half assed toke that wasn't inhaled.
It was so blatantly obvious that he wasn't interested in smoking that Rogan only had one puff himself and got it out of there.

Also, he went on one of the biggest podcasts in the world.
Is term "spotted" really accurate?

I've never understood why people think he's this super smart benefactor of humanity. Everything he touches is a disaster and people keep giving him money like they're under some spell.

Maybe his name is an ancient incantation for the god of hubris.

"taking the pot"?

"the pot" is legal in lots of states, but I don't think smoking it on air helps his credibility.

I had a lot of hope for Tesla, SpaceX etc but the more I pay attention, the more it seems like Musk is likely an unstable wunderkind and probably needs a good PR team or handler to fix his image/save his sinking ships.

Too bad...

But in 5 days he made $10,000,000 off "flame throwers" (roofing torches).

I think it's more of a matter of him not caring what people think.

He has more money than he knows what to do with and he has ambitions far greater than any of us will ever be able to work towards.

What a bunch of regular Joes think about him smoking some weed, or any other PR matter, is probably of little or no concern to him.

While other people are concerned about image and stupid # like that, he is trying to go to mars.

Just another dope smoking hippy running his company into the ground. Give him a month and he’ll be jumping out of a window thinking he can fly.

A dumbass idea...until he pulls it off and sets in to motion the next era of space exploration.

But until then, ya...stupid pothead. Should have been more concerned about PR and public image.

So then he has a warp drive? Because without one deep space exploration is a fools errand. Just like trying to put people months away on a foreign planet, a place with no atmosphere, hardly any water, anti-microbial soil and daily radiation bombardment as the cherry on top.

Eh, Project Orion theorizes 10,000km/s, but you have to be comfortable with nuclear blast propulsion.

The only fool I am concerned about is the one that cannot see past the end of his own nose.
