So what we have is SNAFU... the Democrats saw the Republicans obstruct everything and try to emulate them.

Where the republicans managed to continue looking like politicians (even if what they did was shady), the Democrats are managing to make themselves look like spoiled children told no for the first time.

In a world with a 15 second memory perception is everything and right now the perception of democrats (outside the koolaid drinkers) is not very good.
