Well, Russia seem to be all over the place at the moment.

Poisoning does seem to be the modus operandi, although rat poison does seem a bit low-brow when compared to Novichok and polonium 210. It was only a couple of days ago that Pyotr Verzilovthe, one of Putin's vocal critics, was apparently poisoned and whatever they used it made him blind, deaf and he could not walk. Not to mention string of Russian nationals who have died in suspicious circumstances where poisoning could have been the cause - like Alexander Perepilichnyy who may have been poisoned with gelsemium.

Does seem that poisoning is all the rage at the moment. I suppose we will have to wait and see how this developes. I asked one of the Coppers outside when Prezzos would reopen - reply was "When they get a better chef"! Think he was joking.

Now being reported that the Prezzos thing may have been a hoax - Police are investigating, apparently:

If true, yes indeed. Wasting Police time etc. people in the restaurant were taken to a pub over the road and had to stay there to be quizzed etc until 2am. Not funny.

The Bellingcat site has linked one of the Russians that were picked up on surveillance camera doing their "tour" of Salisbury to a highly decorated Russian "Hero" of the GRU, the site is a great read and fingers this Colonel Chepiga as the guy in the pics. It wont be long before the site also finds the second member of the "death" squad.
Vlad has made himself look like a right idiot here, he either looks like he has incompetent fools working for him or can't control the GRU, both make him look like a Russian version of MR Bean.

Where are all the members who were saying the Russian goverment couldn't/wouldn't do such a bad thing all gone?? When the Salisbury attack happen, this site was full of Putin supporters saying it was a false flag incident by the British goverment.

Social media has now busted the Russian tourist who claimed that he was Boshirov.

As already reported he is Colonel Anatoliy Chepiga who is a recipient of the Hero of the Russian Federation.
