So he's right. Thanks.

So your feelings on something are more important than actual action and doing what it is you speak? Sure, Ted Cruz is rallying against EXACTLY what he has done since he's been in the Senate, but he makes me feel good so who cares? Logic be damned, just make me feel good Ted.

If Ted Cruz followed his own advice, he may not be in such a battle for his Senate seat here in Texas.

I'll be by to pick you up from daycare after work.

SPeaking of daycare, didnt you just parrot the "JKF/Cruz dad" line?

Those in glass houses shouldnt throw stones, you are apparently woefully uninformed and dangerously over confident in your knowledge of Cruz apparently.

Let me know when youre done with your burp rag so i can wash it.

I'm done with it, wash away.

It's one thing to make a joke (JFK line), it's another to view Cruz in a serious light.

No politician in office can be taken seriously, and those who sit on the sidelines cheering on any politician shouldn't be taken seriously either.

You do see the difference, correct?

If you are applauding Cruz now, you sure were upset when the Senator read "Green Eggs and Ham" on the Senate floor?

Why would I have been? He was filibustering against the ACA, the majority of the American people didnt want ACA.

Define majority as it relates to the ACA and Justice Kavanaugh? Very intrigued by this.

Regardless, Ted Cruz boiled down is basically "My side can obstruct when not in power, but don't you dare do it when you're not in power". I have no problem with anything Cruz said, but to act arrogant like this dude wasn't pulling the exact same snip should make every American roll their eyes. That's kind of the point.

Kavanaugh will go through, so anybody upset by the circus in the Senate right now should just sit back and relax. It's honestly the same political theater that's been going on over the past decade. Had the Republicans not thwarted the appointment of Merrick Garland, they likely wouldn't be putting up with this right now. The Republicans obstructed for 6 years, now the Democrats are going to do the same (as much as they can). Both sides are petulant children who should all be removed from office.

I'll give you one more chance. What did he say that you disagree with?

Youre trying to conflate two things that dont go together thats the problem, you asked about Cruz and his filibuster, and if i was upset or not and I said no, wh would i be upset about what he did.

And then you tried to pull in Kav somehow, like those two go together and were happening at the same time.

I swear some peoples mental gymnastics are Olympic level

He’s talking about the democrats trying to obstruct the vote, which they are.

He’s cut from the same cloth. He’s tried to obstruct votes in the Senate before as well. He was party to the actual blocking of a Supreme Court Justice nominee, the same thing he is currently griping about happening

This isn’t tough. He’s just pandering. He’s no different than the democrats he’s shaming. The republicans did this exact same thing 2 years ago.

I guess I just can’t stand hypocrites, nor do I like being pandered to. I don’t understand why some people get off on this kind of rhetoric, but to each his own.

except that filibustering is a completely legal action.
