Don't worry it's likely an opinion piece designed for both sales and distraction . If they want to talk international affairs regarding these countries and don't mention the SCO it's probably best to assume the article/author are not particularly credible . Read facts and do your own thinking instead

I’m not worried at all, just think it makes sense to deal with the issue, and not deny its reality

All countries develop weapons of war .

It’s just a discussion on the leaders who might get us into a nuclear war and their armies.

No obsession or doom, just a sober attempt to discuss the issue.

I suggest isn’t it a wise thing to do for these leaders to be discussing the elimination of these weapons, or at least the idea of peace in light of the potential destructiveness of the nuclear weapons.

This issue does not upset me. I get more upset about reading of a teenager killing herself climbing up a fire escape to get her smartphone.

This issue, although vital to discuss, is out of our range of direct influence. Its abstract yet shouldn’t be to us.


We should demand of our leaders to knock it off and make peace, but we just don’t. That in itself is interesting.

Yeah lets ignore the hundreds of US/Nato bases around Russia and China.

Australia was asked by the US a year ago to stir up China with our Navy.

So par for the course China & Russia want to defend themselves.

That link goes to a site that is very detailed and well documented. It's not just a page of short forum posts. Each one goes to a section that can take you deep into this rabbit hole. I found the section about Hiroshima to be the most persuasive.

Like I said, I do believe nukes exist. This site has modified my thinking somewhat about the relative effectiveness of the atom bomb versus the h bomb. Also I read an interesting piece by Jim Marrs on the subject once but I don't have a link handy. Maybe he posted about it on ATS.

Like I said, this is an involved site. You could not possibly have browsed it in the time it took for you to respond.

Historically, China and Russia don't get along, however, they seem to unite over a common enemy-the US. Any victory wouldn't last long; eventually, they'd just end up fighting each other for dominance.

There’s no need to invade a country already at war with itself.
