FF9 and xenogears are my favourites on that list. Didn't like 8. 7 was alright but kinda overrated I think. I think i've played legend of dragoon but i'm not sure.

I guess you are right that is was overrated but it just blew me away by introducing me to the genre.

Legend of Dragoon will be forgotten by me to eventually, it just didn't... idk click

Hey man FF3 is awesome but that style seems to be lost in time........maybe you are old lol

It was great. I remember flying to dinosaur island and fighting for hours and hours and hours to get EXP.

Ff7 - exploring Midgar in the middle of the night on a big screen.
Or creeping through the Shinra building, raising chocobos to get a gold so I could fly to the island and get knights of the round.

Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo 2
Formula 1
FF7

Oh lord not GT1 and 2 I used to rage quit so hard as a kid over the invisible walls. As far as my favorite PS1 games I don’t really remember that many stand outs it was a great console but I got into Dreamcast, and PC and they stick out more in my head. Oh a Classic was always twisted metal games, I’m not big on JRPGs personally so aside from some Abe’s odysssey games that was about it on RPGs. This is bugging me now, I remember my brother loved the crash bandicoot and Spyro games but he’s 4 years younger and it seems like he was always the one playing the most PS1. Honestly I think I can name off more of my GameCube games I had than PS even though we had a fair amount of PS games.

They released ff3 on playstation with ff4 I think but never got around to playing it...
FF3 was and still is great. The 1st in the series to implement character job changes. I really liked the Android port with enhanced graphics. Square butchered the FF7 port though, not worth the money at this point.

7 was amazing for it's time but I can't choose a favorite from the series. They still hold up as great rpg's and you can't go wrong with 1 through 8. Was hit and miss after 8 imho.

I still play the available Android ports off and on, along with Dragon Quest 5, 6 and 8. Timeless fun.

I loved the summons in that game as well as the materia system.

Final Fantasy 9 was my favorite.

Final Fantasy 7 was groundbreaking though in several ways,
so it gets honorable 2nd.

I'm still waiting for the FF VII Remake...
and will probably be waiting for years...

9 was all around fun. I never looked at FF's black mages the same ever again...lol

Any Final Fantasy since the original
I will add Legend of the Dragoon
And one very little known Japanese import - Kodelka
Kodelka would rival any horror or RPG genre game of today

I've played most of the FF games and mostly enjoyed them.

But I just have a problem with JRPG's, they're just so...weird, everyone has this odd spikey hair, there are all sorts of cliche phrases you see mostly in Japanese stuff, most characters have skinny little legs and big clodhopper shoes.

Probably a cultural thing. I am a big RPG fan in general

Now that you say that I must say the card game of 8 was a very good game. 7 was lacking in that arena but still a great game.

9 was my favorite of your choices. They put the fantasy back in final fantasy--and then with 10 it was gone again

7 was a close second place.

8 is a game I've slowly learned not to loathe.

6 I don't understand the love for it.

5 is probably my favorite of the series though.

In 9 I love the part when Vivi and Quina get married it is funny even today yet I am still wondering if Quina is a boy or a girl. I knew at one point but I forgot, because it is easy to forget that, Quina is just so asexual.
