Far left politiicans, Sen Sanders and congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez both put out messages regarding the passing of John McCain. Both of them are fitting and proper.

Read the comments. Read the hate radiate from the comments. Look how the comments full have hate our number the nice comments or even common sense comments.

Ask yourself, are the majority of the followers this hatefilled? Are these followers are just a vocal minority? If so, where is the far left majority? Why aren’t the majority speaking out against the minority? If the answer is the senseable far left majority’ is this afraid of this vocal minority, the wha does that say about our countries future? Worse, if the supporters that are commenting on the twitter page ARE the majority of the far left, that is even worse for this country.

How about you read the hate filled forum posts here on ATS from right-wingers in any of the threads about McCain. Then make sure you respond to each and everyone of them, telling your peers how they shouldn't be so hate filled.

ETA:

"No friend of America."
"I will not miss him anymore than I miss Richard Nixon."
"glaring example of everything wrong with congress"
"sold out our nation to ISIS in Syria"
"he served the corrupt elite"
"I assume the Left will miss him more than the Right"
"He was a mass murderer. F him"
"I am sure his ex-shipmates on the Forrestal are going to arrange a 'warm' welcome for him where he is going."

I was surprised when I saw this one. It doesn't seem to be a partisan issue.

Many Democrats are furious because (R)McCain was a little "too close" to Democrats and policies (like ISIS) over the years.

The start point was exposed in the Keating5 scandals.

The maddening part is the 💥exposures💥

"yes daarlink, vee know"

I don’t care what she tweeted. Her tweets don’t have to reflect what I believe.

Let me know when you get asked why you're so filled with hate.

John McCain has not been a very well-liked politician over the years. It's been known for a long time that he's likely about as clean as ol' Teddy Kennedy was although he probably didn't go as far as having his own Mary Jo Kepechne.

Of course, the left is going to be vile about it because these days they're so far gone, they'd dance on Stalin's grave and call him a filthy Nazi.

How about we stop judging entire groups of people by what one person says?

I just hate what you McCain Neocon / Hillary Neolib types did slaughtering like a million people in the Middle East, while keeping US all whipped into tabloid gossip lunacy to divert our attention.

Is criticism now hate?
Seems to be the consensus these days.
I'm sure McCain's 1st wife would testify to what a great fellow he was.
Never mind her though, she's a hater.

Any political disagreement is now considered hate speech. Gives folks nice little safe bubbles to hide in, put their fingers in their ears, and go na, na, na, na, na, na...pretending like there is only one “non-hate” side...theirs...regardless of political affiliation or even if apolitical. It’s what the populace is taught in schools; forget learning debate skills.
