Yes, all the time allegely.
But where does choice/when would choice, spawn a new timeline?
It's not very economic through unless the parent timeline is/was/will be destroyed.
Now my head hurts. LoL

There is a process that can occur in a human brain that produces non sequitur false cause and effect relationships.
I remember once trying to explain the math behind Doc Browns flux capacitor when suddenly I started hearing Rush lyrics and getting visions from Finland. This continued till I thought I had solved the CIA Kryptos puzzle. I did some searching on the internet and found that this was just non sequitur thinking caused by previously stored memories connecting in parallel "out of time" as it were.
When you rewind and try to analyze what just happened it feels like time traveling because the memories had real dates and times.

The simple answer would be that entropy must increase within a closed system.
Not thrown away per-say, simply never was.

I think (in the 1980's movie) Doc Brown's time travel was just weighting memories in ways that give different results. Same process occurs when you observe a multifaceted artistic work. Sometimes you find a complimentary link with some other artwork by a different artist that was actually intended.

No "you" can't delete something from the internet.
Plenty of people about that can, you would be surprised at whats possible with Meta information, the possibilities border on the supernatural really.
Whats consciousness, where does it reside, and how does it influence our decision-making process?
Which believe it or not, begin before you even initiate the thought process, true fact!

All i know is that predestination and free will seem to be in direct contention, diametrically opposed to one another.
Further study is most definitely required.
Neuroscience is progressing at a similar rate to computer science so the big answers might not be that far off.
