season 12 to be the Big Bang Theory's last

i have to admit im bummed but its time.

i think it is an awesome show. i think it has been pretty solid with the laughs for the entire run.

even kick ass shows have to end it though. once you get into the 8/10/12 season run it really does start to tire.

so how do you all think it will end?

i think the obvious way would be with Amy either finding out she is pregnant or with her having a baby and us seeing them be parents a little bit.

gonna mis ole sheldon.

he was most people favorite but i dig howard. he is such a creeper but not in a weinstein kind of way.

Perhaps Sheldon will figure out that the Big Bang is preposterous in terms of actual physics and, in one of those 'breaking the 3rd wall' trope jokes, will mandate that the show's title must change.

Then the studio exec's cancel the new show, because it has become too abstruse for them to follow, and they would rather replace it with a reality TV show where midgets mud wrestle each other in Hawaii, so it ends.

I absolutely LOATHE laugh tracks!

I hate being TOLD to do something, especially laugh. It's insulting and disrespectful in the highest degree.

"This is funny, you're supposed to laugh now, stupid!" ... FU!!

Other than that, the show was fine.

I agree. 12 seasons too many. Just like Seth McFarlane's shows, completely unfunny for me.

Oh well, no big deal as I don't have to watch it.

And Young Sheldon does not use a laugh track!

One of the few sitcoms which doesn't.

I think sheldon should resign immediately.

Hollywood yells that there are all kinds of gay and trans actors well suited to play lbgt,,,,,,, rolls.

No reason a gay man should be playing a straight roll then..


But anyway, I haven't watched this show since all the nerds ended up with hot women.
You can only stretch make believe so far.

I would rather see The Simpsons go. That show, has been on since my Senior year, back in 1989. Yes I am 47, now its time for Homer to put it to rest.

Did that with another show with a laugh track and normally I find EVERYTHING funny in that state...yeah I didn't laugh I just watch a completely unfunny show and noticed each time the button was pushed for a certain laugh it was weird...

I think there are episodes that are funny yes...it was a differen't show but once my head bent around laugh tracks it made more obvious in other shows.

As a geek in a geek household, I have to say I really didn't appreciate the image of geekdom this show presented. Where was the geek that was otherwise normal? Missing!

Nope all the geeks were the huge mouthbreathers or people with "issues" all the normies always want to feel safe thinking they are.
