The Racist Media

Just one, simple question:

When will the media choose to cover a missing black girl?

This has been going on for decades--the media hand-picking missing persons (almost always young, white females) for your viewing obsession, one after the other--and I'll be damned if I can remember them ever going apes# over a black girl. Ever. Or a brown one, for that matter.

Can you?

The same institution that beats you over the head about how racist you are is the same that oozes racial contempt with every turn of their talking f# heads.

Any media is info-tainment at best. If they think it won't draw in viewers, it doesn't get covered. Same reason why you don't hear about the myriad suicides, murders, rapes etc. that occur daily in Anytown, USA.

The 'news' is simply an entertainment product. They have to know their consumer and put their best product at the front of the shelf.

It's a mixed up crazy world unfortunately, and for every tragedy on the news, there's 100 more being ignored.

I don't think it's a racist issue. I think it's a misanthropy issue.


Edit: For what it's worth: where I live is predominantly a Hispanic population...so that's who you always see on those "Have you seen me?" notices of missing children.

Perhaps you are talking national media? Instead of local?

Does the media hand pick them? Or does the constant pressure that family etc. put on the media play a role in what is shown on the evening news?

Why play the race bate game?
It's bad when anyone goes missing. I think we can both agree on that.
Why one gets more coverage than another might be based on any number of things.

They sure do, maybe even more-so than those whom they label "liberals". If you are hooked into the media's narrative then you are falling for their propaganda.

Propaganda is not aimed at one side of a divide, it is usually aimed at both so that each side is radicalized in unison with one another. Fake narratives being pushed to polarize the country, pretty obvious once you see it.

you're a racist trying to rationalise your racism by pointing the finger at others. There's many reasons why the media plays more white girls missing than black but you don't want to think about it. The media are ratings driven if they think 'black girls missing' will up the ratings I'm sure as hell they'll show 'black girls missing'.

Which ever girl is chosen by the media is being singled out just so as to being

B) The media is based on advertising dollars..


Cute little white kids “sell” better than cute little black kids. If cute little black kids sold better that’s all we would see.
