Hi, bonjour, hola, ciao, salaam, konnichiwa

I am not new here. Newly joined because I figured while I sit at my desk all day I could pass some time by interacting with some of you fine people.

So uhm.. a little about me:

I like going to concerts, watching documentaries, and playing video games. I also roleplay in my free time.

I work at a company that is contracted by the government to make gnarly stuff for their military aircraft.

College student. Communications major.

I've had a heart surgery a year ago.. normally people cant believe that since I'm young. I don't have any scars from it since it wasn't terribly invasive. I had an issue called S.V.T. that had me in the hospital a few times a month, hooked up to a defibrillator. I'm glad those days are behind me (:

Military aircraft you say...you should really check out some of threads here. I know Zaphod58 is out resident Forum Subject Matter expert when it comes to these things.

Well you registered so that is pretty much the only qualification you need...

There is a 20 post requirement I believe to get the full experience but you are already half way there.

I meant gnarly as in it will gnarl you up — nothing cool about what I’m referencing. There’s a thread on ATS about the open-pit burning they carried out in that area (B-more wasn’t down wind but places like Owen Mills was) and some folks are trying to get FOIA request...long story short, short story sweet: the gubmint/military incinerated a bunch chemical weapons (and god knows what else) out in the open and if you were in that area of Maryland from 60s to late 80s you were exposed down wind to some gnarly stuff.

Ft Meade/Detrick was (may still be) where we made the lion’s share of the country’s chemical weapons. If I wasn’t using the mobile site I’d use ATS’s search function and drop in thread link...

Actually that area is plagued pretty heavy with drugs and suicide so might be a direct side effect of the pollution.

Yeah, I did. ATS is awesome, but I rarely log in to the desktop site, so I just live with the auto-correct feature and not being able to search...I wanna say that the thread I’m referencing has “Aberdeen Proving Grounds” in the title because I did some subcontracting work for the DoD there, so it piqued my interest immediately. I’m sorry, but I can’t search atm...
