Look man. I'm really not looking to get into the finer details of why the Christian religion isn't true. We are getting completely side tracked here from the original point of the thread.

Then what you need to do is not solicit comments on those details you're sidetracking around in, say stuff isn't true to people, personally, thereby risking soliciting a response you don't want, or simply state up front I'm not allowed to respond. Anyway, it's clear you need some more quality time with the statue, and, hey, when in Arkansas, do what the Arkansans do, I always say.

However, a Satanist - - whatever kind (yes, I know there is more then one) - - - can have atheistic views.

Having that statue in a public display is an abomination.
Since most who will argue against that are secular minded,
there's not much more to say.

Not everyone believes in the bible, so what the bible says is irrelevant to this discussion.This is on state owned land, and there is separation of church and state. So, everyone's beliefs are represented, or no beliefs are.
That's the whole reason why they put Baphomet up, to show the hypocrisy. It's a public, state-owned place. Therefore, any form of religious statue, writing, etc. shouldn't be on display.
They wouldn't have put up the statue if the 10 commandments weren't already there.

Atheism is void of any beliefs at all. Satan is a contruct of christianity, therefore it has beliefs, a book of worship, and obviously figures. It is not atheism.

technically satanism is a satire of christianity, using the same methods christians did centuries ago when they hijacked and repurposed pagan gods. now its happening to the christian devil, reimagining ol scratch as an idol to rival the big man upstairs. seems they don't enjoy their own medicine.

Ironic that Baphomet, the Sabbatic Goat can represent "the universe in the form of binary opposites" ... here we have a monument with the 10 Commandments on it, along with a statue of Baphoment nearby. One of these is paying homage to a belief in a monotheistic deity, and another paying homage to disbelief in a God or Gods in general
