Well the phone call didn't happen but I have better company here anyway.

Jacy, now that you are and official Netflix watcher here are a couple of my favorite shows and a new one coming out next month that I think you may like.

Nope, it was my friend Roger. Oh well with different time zones and sleep habits it can be a challenge to find the right time to be here with everyone else at the same time.

When it goes quiet in here I tend to throw a picture up. Sort of like intermission at the movies.

Ahhh... the quiet time in the Shed.

Having a hard time falling asleep again... I need to dream... good dreams.

I like it in here when it’s quiet... very relaxing.. but it’s also good when others are here.

It's quiet in here this morning...all I can hear is snoring and Fleetwood Mac.

*flips on the donut making machine and coffee maker*

I will be dog-sitting this afternoon for my friend for a couple of hours so will likely pop in while I'm there. The dogs are good for snuggles, (but lousy conversationalists).

Coffee and donuts? Really? For breakfast? I think the sugar would run right through me. Not to mention the sugar rush. I don't mind a little marmalade on toast and one quarter of a spoon of sugar in my (mug of real) coffee but the last time I ate toast was years ago.

I have to smoke outside too. It's an unnecessary evil but such is life. (The bastards!) Sometimes just standing next to an open door is enough as long as the wind is blowing the right way. There's an emergency exit I use for smoking. (I stand or sit inside so that I am not visible from the street yet close to the opening while I smoke. I leave no smell behind. The door opens directly onto the street.)

I feel privileged to have a landlord that allows me to vape indoors. Medicinal has to be outside though, that's ok. Hope everyone is doin ok today. I'll be lurking around if anyone wants to chat.

Who are you? Where do you come from? Do you live in the part of Canada that is always cold or the part that sometimes defrosts in the summer? How much maple syrup do you drink each year? Do you like moose? Do you speak French? Can I use your bathroom? How cold is cold? Are bears always grumpy and dangerous? Do you say aboot a lot? So many questions....

ETA And most importantly, is Canadian bacon better than American bacon?

1. I am Brent
2. I come from Saskatoon
3. It sometimes defrosts here, much to my dismay
4. Gallons of Maple syrup, I put it on a lot of things
5. I love moose, living or dead. Magnificent, tasty creatures
6. I do not speak french, never could grasp the language, did horrible on french class
7. My bathroom is kinda a mess, but ok you can use it
8. I love the cold so anything past -30C is cold
9. I've only ran across 1 bear and it ran away from me
10. I NEVER say aboot, that is an Eastern Canada thing (points nose up in the air)
11. I surprisingly don't care for bacon but if I did, it would most likely be American, with maple syrup of course!
