Why don't they know about this?

I am a little shocked by how few people outside of us conspiracy theorists or consiracy nuts as some call us know about Operation Northwood. I posted about it on another board and people were actually looking it up on snopes sure it was not real. They were very alarmed when they could not find it was a lie. Have you ever talked to anyone about the topic and they had no idea of what it was? Of course with our current education system its really no surprise in some ways. Just in case someone here does not know about it here is a link with some of the most important pages copied and also has a link on there for the government archives so you can be sure they are real. Maybe that is why so many can't fathom 911 as being a government project and planned attack, they don't realize that such a plan was already made for such a thing years ago.
