Help! I've been eating Tide Pods...sorta

So I made a joke a week or two ago about begging a certain food-fanatic member to share his Tide Pod recipes

Well now I am the one with egg on my face! ...or possibly Tide Pod residue..

I just realized I was almost out of those tempting, colorful little morsels and remembered to add it to my grocery list. So there I am in the dish washing shelf looking all over for my beloved Tide helpers.

Whoa! I couldn't find the darn things. Where are they?!

Ok so they're in the laundry detergent area. I'm looking at the bag...that looks identical to the Cascade Pods.

I see a little picture that shows a washing machine.

Oh gawd

I've been putting these in my dishwasher for months.

Am I okay? Have I been weird or different? Should I be concerned?

Let the weaning-slash-detox begin.

Edit:
An over cooked chicken nugget from tonight that became hockey pucks. The dogs love them.

Dishwashers ( most of them anyhow) usually do a good job of rinsing. I’m not sure if you should worry about it too much, if you’re concerned, think about going to talk to a doc about it.

It wont hurt you. I've used laundry detergent to wash dishes in a pinch before.

Sometimes I just don't feel "peopley" enough to run to the store.

Things like that happen to me all the time. Or happened. I am far too wary of doing anything outside of impromptu showtunes lest I have an unforunate accident. I'm a bit of a female Mr Bean.

Also that chick is wearing a g string over long pants. Why.

Also on related note I once used fly spray on my frying pan when i thought i reached for the cooking spray. That smell wasnt fun.

When I was a wee lad my mom left some Crisco sitting out in a dish on the counter. I thought it was cake frosting and took a big finger-full and stuck it in my mouth.

I was instantly gagging

I just got a fancy new stove with a convection oven and broiler inside the same oven..

I've been spatchcocking my chicken so long at 351 for 2 hrs 31.6 seconds so long.... I now have to relearn to cook.

Tide pods ✔
Egg wash and chicken✔
Poison control on speed dial ✔

Your dishes must be super soft to the touch.

I hope you don't miss the soft texture of your dishes when you switch to cascade in the dishwasher and put the tide pods in the laundry.
