Saw it on 9Gag as a gif, several hours before.

Thought that i watched better videos where people nearly ended up as food.

I saw the shark week doc where they were tracking great whites trying to see if the big ones still frequented the waters off Montauk, and this guy and his crew were part of it. They really do use that style of boat with the boom off the bow to tag the sharks. They look for the big ones cruising just under the surface and chase them. On that show, they had one cruising up close to a public beach, in quite shallow. They got close enough that they called and alerted the life guards to start getting people out of the water.

I've always watched that sort of exercise and wondered if a white would launch a half-hearted breach attempt at the people cruising above harassing them while they hang out.

Looks like one finally did.

If sharks can eat people, why can't I? Totally discrimination

Damn... remind me to never go swimming if I ever find myself at a beach Massachusetts.

I actually used to love surfing and going to the beach... but think I've just lost the nerve in my old age, on account of being convinced I've got the Murphy's law curse.

Took my dads jet ski out just the other month well visiting his holiday house... didn't admit it then, but I did not enjoy myself at all... Just couldn't get the image out of my head of some great white breaching the water and taking me back down with it.

... What horrible way to go.

The railing on that plank he's standing on needs to be much higher if you'll see me dangling out there.

Nope, uh uh - not even then!
