I think Georgie pulls an FDR.. and for the life of me after much searches I cannot find that code, or Constitution, that allows a President to remain in office during a time of war...

..would be much appreciated if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I very much remember my high school Civics class, FDR held the Presidency over 2 terms because it was a time of war ..

help

it was a "no third term" tradition broken by FDR because of the war, the amendment was adding on after the war to perfent any president of being president for a long time.

Mabe its time for Georgie to amend the constitution and allow a president to remain in office during a time of war. Leave it up to Congress to decide to impeach him if they think he should go and then we elect a new prez. Or simply leave it up to the voters, simply leave his name on the ballott and allow his same political party to put someone on the ballott as well. This way if America really trusted their current president and wanted to leave him in office because they liked the way the country is moving they could. Of course with all the Bush bashers I think he would be the hardest to be elected a third term but it should truly be our choice, shouldnt it?
