I agree Child Protective Services looks more appropriate for US.

I wonder if we can find a link that shows increase in children under CPS - in the same way we use PACER to see the increase in sealed indictments?

Q rarely posts one subject, and then posts a completely different subject, 20 minutes later. Post #1826 and #1827 go together. And both tie in to what we were briefed on in post #1821. (IMO of course.)

Seriously, she popped out of nowhere with her crew, performing or rehearsing at the bush bash behind my school in Ottawa, and it was some really funny stuff!

The one and only time I met her for but a fleeting moment. She sat down beside me for a few minutes and we were joking around. I remember she had long hair, not short like in the video. I thought she was around my age at the time but, hey, there was alcohol and teenage hormones involved, lol.

What if Child Protective Services are bad apples?

Government takes children away from drug addict parents and places them with foster families and adoption agencies that provide them to people that are bad.... like what happened in Haiti.

Oh they are bad. Maybe not all but many where child trafficking/prostitution rings are happening where you have bad apples all the way up and down the ladder, they are definitely part of it.

Even without abuse based rings there are other issues, especially in the US. Where certain agencies get a percentage of payment of each child they take into custody so they are obviously driven to have high volume.
