I didn't say everyone should be carrying. We already had means for Commanders to order members who were having mental health issues to surrender all their weapons, even if they didn't live on base. Such precautions should still be taken. But there's no reason why most of us couldn't concealed carry.

I don't know about that, having some dude with PTSD, suffering an Iraq or Afghanistan flashback, perhaps not your best line of defense? But maybe we could get back to our roots, have open carry and some entertaining gunfights in parking lots. But you could have a point, re: the PTSD hazard, as we did, at onetime, think liquored-up and armed was alright. Your concept is uniquely American, must admit.

Really? You have to be kidding. When I was in the Navy, I was not allowed to carry a weapon from my home to the Base because of dumb regulations. Yet when I reported for duty to stand my watch, I checked out an automatic rifle, a pistol and ammunition. Think about that for a minute and realize how stupid your post is.

Based on this and some common sense:

What kind of an exercise? An active shooter exercise? Why weren't bystanders warned of any exercise? Who is this person that made the 911 call and why wasn't he chewed-out by every last person in his chain of command?
