In another incredible coincidence, Fusion GPS had hired scholar and professor Nellie Ohr as a “paid Russian expert.” Nellie Ohr happens to be married to Bruce Ohr, deputy attorney general in the Justice Department. Bruce Ohr is alleged to have passed his wife’s anti-Trump research to the FBI. He was demoted for failing to disclose not only his wife’s employment with Fusion GPS, but also his own meetings with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson.

The FISA court was never told any of that.

Regardless of your view on Trump or your political persuasion this attack on American democracy should have you livid. The swamp must be drained. Don't let this stand because of your hatred.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I hope people realize that you don't even have to like Trump for this to be a bad thing. Unless the IC being in total control is the preferred situation.

Until those involved are prosecuted for their crimes, the FBI will hold zero credibility with myself and many others I know. These slaps on the wrist aren’t cutting it and only shows others, they can also bend the rules without much punishment.

You would be right, but trump and Rudy have both said"collusion is not a crime" If its not a crime, then why the thread? They cant have it both ways!

I hope people realize this abuse in the fisa courts has been on going since 911. Bush and Obama both eroded the 4th amendment under the guise of security. Now the same mouthpieces like Devin Nunes who literally vote to expand surveillance every time it comes up (seriously look at his voting record) are acting like ita the Democrats fault the abuses have continued on for nearly 20 years.

Doing anything to get elected isn't new. Hilary does it, Trump does it...

The problem is the narrative makes it seem like it's a political problem. Which it partly is. The real problem however, is that Congress votes to expand surveillance and due process is short handed for the sake of "security" and viola it gets easier and easier to abuse.

Anyone who believes this isn't something anybody running for election or in power won't abuse is fooling themselves.

If you have a basketball game and you make rules more lenient the players will capitalize to win. Period.

If you want to stop the abuse stop blaming a party and start looking at voting records on surveillance laws and start voting the lawmakers out and outing them on twitter.

As much as I don't like Lynch she couldn't abuse and stretch the law without enablers like Nunes expanding her power and those that come after.

They probably said that because the entire premise of the special counsel was predicated on Russian collusion, according to the media.

You would think that Mueller is smart enough to know how the statute is worded.

Not to mention, the special counsel was initially formed as a result of Comey taking FBI property and feloniously leaking it to the media. He said so, himself.

Because it was never about a crime, that's the whole point. This was about political sabotage.

That's the point, we have to end it. Unfortunately I fear Democrats are happy to erode it further due to Trump hate.

The appointment letter is the actual fact, the rest is speculation. There certainly could be more facts but the investigation wasn't over collusion, and Comey isn't being charged as far as I know.

The investigation is Russian interference in the election. The media made it about trump, he helps carry that narrative by over reacting. I thought he was innocent but I don't really know. I assume he had a few leaches stick themselves to the campaign and he really didn't know how sleepy they were. Can happen to non politicians.

However the understanding and depth of things like where funding comes from, and how Russia attacks is important to know. That is what Mueller is actually doing despite the media presentation and political hijacking for mid term narratives.

Exactly accept trump supporters are blinded by the rhetoric as well. Devin nunes is an enemy. And trump himself isn't talking about examining fisa as an important narrative discussion.

Why, he probably wants to use the powers congress gave him in the last 17 years.

Edit..by supporter I mean bumper sticker on the car and the shirts not someone who likes some of his policies or voted for him.

Your pic is according to reality?

Trump is trudging through a swamp in DC, in a row boat, with military members at his side?

No. Of course not.

Your pic is not according to reality.

Your pic is according to the symbology the artist used to portray their thoughts at the time. It's propaganda symbolism.
