Why can't I find any cases of anaphylaxis after drinking water (H2O) in medical literature?

She isn't allergic to impurities though she's literally allergic to the H2O molecule.

I've been doing more Google searching.

I'm finding a plethora of disturbing results.

One- I found the original link/ story. It tells of the fact water will cause blisters and such. 2 links, one related news story.

The rest of them involves, word for word, the same thing as on here. What exactly is your obsession with this?

Double Hmmm

So we found your answer it's not a true allergy per say so it can't stop you from breathing, just give you a nasty rash.. It only affects the skin.

Yes but in the story it was more than just skin she had a systematic internal reaction to water that was life threatening, for example if a drop of rain landed in her mouth she'd go into shock and need to be pumped full of adrenaline to save her life.

I didn't see anywhere that specifically stated that she is absolutely allergic to the H2O molecule alone. That is impossible due to the water make-up of the body. There is something IN water that triggers this response, not the water itself. Skin cells themselves contain water. There is not one part of our bodies that does not contain water.

Article after article states that she has the water form of urticaria, and research has shown that there is no link to a direct allergy to water itself, rather it's most likely to some form of impurity.

Probably psychosomatic.

She had a medical IV and still reacted to it though and I'm pretty sure medical IV's use purified water as their base.

Seriously... SALIVA contains water. It is mostly water. If she were truly allergic to the water molecule, she'd be dead by now. It's something else. Some other mechanic related to something found in water.

EDIT: what game are you playing? Are you the same person that keeps posting this very thing in multiple places around the net? One claiming this is a 'creative writing' endeavor? Pretty sure you're trolling now.

We are mostly water so there is no way to be allergic to water

Autoimmune diseases exist so that's like saying you can't be allergic to your own neurones or blood cells when people's immune systems end up attacking our own cells since our body is made up of cells..

This is your 3rd thread on this same subject. Why do you continue if you don't want to accept what people are trying to tell you after 300 posts on this subject. You want to believe some fictional tale but not any reputable replies to your threads?

Blimey! Face it kid, H2O is NOT an allergen.

Because Hedi is not allergic to water. At birth infants are composed of as much as 75 % water. As we develop the water in our bodies falls to about 50 % water. Everything around us is comprised of water.

Perhaps little Hedi is allergic to other components readily found in water such as the pharmaceuticals we take and found in our drinking water. There is a long list of chemicals used to treat water but that story is just that, a story.

Two-thirds of a cell is water, which means that two-thirds of your whole body is water. The rest is a mixture of molecules, mainly proteins, lipids and carbohydrates

It does say in the original story she reacts to a medical IV as well and I'm pretty sure they use purified water as a base. She reacts internally to any water be it from a drop of rain going into her mouth or drinking water.

Yes that is a later iteration of the story but the original story goes into the most detail saying she cannot drink water so she has to survive on milk and OJ
www.thefreelibrary.com...

FICTION - both OJ and Milk are primarily made up of WATER.

The Human body is primarily made up of WATER.
