Genealogy company 23 and me selling your DNA and not to just anybody

the problem is, whatever you agreed to can easily be changed with an updated policy that many also will likely not bother reading. Like those who made the assumptions. But the problem is that they already own your sample, and now a copy of your genetic profile.

Maybe they are just trying to best experiment with how to fabricate evidence to plant at crime scenes, a reality for ten years now. Just like remotely controlling humans and invisibility.

Isn't it funny how all this future tech literally already has existed for years, but we all pretend to still be living at the turn of the century, kind of like the Matrix??

The conditions made it clear that the person owns their own data, and it can never be used for any purpose for which the person did not give explicit consent.

It also allows for download of your own data. And then you can tell them to delete it from their records.

If we get to the point where the information is used for qualification for health insurance etc., then I am sure we will be at the point where a DNA test is "required" in order to get insurance.

Of course by the time it gets to that, the uninsured will be the black sheep of society. Hanging out with us will be bad for your health lol! We will be the bad boys of the next decade. All the ladies and gents will be all "oh wow, they uninsured?? Daanng thats hot!"

The number 23 - a mystic number.
Why do you think you notice the number 23, more often than other numbers?
Could it be that you think the number has prominence and you notice it more.

The history I have with modern medicine is a very good one.

Saved my life and the life of my mother.

If this merger brings more info to help people that are sick I say great!

It hasn't harmed me one bit to send my dna to 23andme.

If my dna can be used to help others I will gladly give it.
