The guys says what he learned in his near death experience is that we influence (as in create some way) the incidents ond people that enter our life. Other than that, it's just a cool story.

I have heard about that somewhere! This ties into reincarnation as I have heard stories of children having past life memories, they basically remembered their death and said they were then taken into a "waiting room" where they were approached by other people (who were seemingly in charge, and were asked to pick who their parents were going to be, and how they would experience life)
