Swedish student's stunt to save Afghan man from deportation goes viral

A VIDEO TAKEN by a Swedish student who filmed herself stopping the deportation of an Afghan asylum seeker on board a plane has gone viral.

In a video streamed live on her Facebook account, Elin Ersson, who is reading sociology at Gothenburg University, is seen refusing to sit down and turning off her phone on board a Turkish Airlines flight heading to Istanbul.

“A person is going to get deported to Afghanistan where there is war and he’s going to get killed,” the 21-year-old tells disgruntled crew members.

I would not have bothered to post this, until i read the comments at the end of the article.
On one side you have people say things like "bless her" and "more people should be like this".
On the other side people state she's breaking the law, calling her a snowflake etc.
Im sure you understand what im saying.

It seems to be quite the divisive topic, me personally, i think her intentions are to be admired but maybe her actions not so much. Perhaps she felt she had to do it this way, she obviously planned ahead and bought a ticket for the flight.

Either way i applaud her for her courage and determination

The thing is they'll just put him on the next flight and all she's accomplished is ruin it for everyone else on the plane.

I have a hard time trying to see her point of view. Perhaps we really are just wired differently. Perhaps there was an intimate reason for her behavior?
Thing here is..she inconvenienced a planeload of peeps.

It looks like she pulled the stunt for the social media footage alone, subconsciously showing off.

The reason this girl is unintelligent is that she has no idea why this guy is getting deported. It seems that she made a snap judgement.

This is an obvious example of people working and thinking purely based on emotion. And as someone stated before me, the only thing that happened was he was probably just deported on the next flight.

What is with the left and this love of immigration all the sudden? I have never seen anything like it in my lifetime. It boggles the mind because any rational person understands the problems human beings have with adjusting to eachother in general. Why would anyone or any culture think it makes sense to just open the floodgates?

What is REALLY behind this movement? Who are the puppet masters of this thinking?

If he's nothing to do with her, it's none of her business and if he's illegal or done something he shouldn't have done, then he should be deported.

I hate to say but she was attention seeking. This is the game SJW's play where their social standing will rise if they do some kind of protest action that generates a viral story. It was never about the deportee but her own ego. This is one reason why Leftist ideology is so dangerous, it encourages people to continually try more outrageous behaviors (pulling down statues, throwing feces at people). It can only get more dangerous and ugly

If she was keeping me from flying I would pick her up with a firemans carry and take her off the plane. Not difficult to fix. Try this in the US and the air marshall will taser you and you still end up off the plane.
