That is not the type of immunity given. The unknown persons are getting "use immunity". It just means they can say things on the stand and prosecutors cant use that testimony in the future. It does not prevent charges. It is used as a work around to people who would plead the 5th but their testimony is need in other cases.

No it doesnt. They just cant use the testimony as evidence. Everything else is still fair game.

I'm gonna go with True Pundit, and then the claims are made even more solid by Gateway Pundit, or maybe Daily Caller or Neon Nettle. Any slightly more credible news organization should have another source beside Tucker Carlson if they want to repeat this.

Now, don't get me wrong, there is a chance this is true, everything has a chance of being true, it's a crazy world -- but consider the sources, please. Consider where this started and where it's continuing.

So, on topic question for everyone: If this turns out a hoax and Tucker Carlson fell for a hoax and staked his credibility on it, can we even re-post Tucker on here as credible? Should we?

You have not been reading the thread, have you? Clinton associates can be charged, but their testimony cannot be used against them.

Soooo. Daily Caller got it all wrong again.
The five witnesses have been named and as I said none of them are known to the general public.
They are bankers and accountants who worked on his taxes and finances. My accountant signs my tax return on the line that says prepared but not audited to protect himself from any laws I might have broken. Normal for them to request immunity so they are not liable for crimes that Manafort committed in his tax returns.
So boring I know. Sometimes the story just isn't as exciting as some imaginations.

Well it's just his accountants and bankers so I guess they don't really have anything to charge them with. This is professional insurance that they won't be liable for any tax fraud Manafort might have perpetrated. Not that any prosecutors would be looking to do that anyway.
