Valerie Jarrett has been one of Barack Obama’s closest advisers in the Oval Office and it’s no secret her family history is checkered with adherents to Communism, but a new report from Judicial Watch, the Washington watchdog group, reveals the FBI even investigated several of her relatives.

For example, files obtained by Judicial Watch and posted online show that her father, James Bowman, was in 1950 in communication with a “paid Soviet agent named Alfred Stern, who fled to Prague after getting charged with espionage.”

Alfred K. Stern, a former Illinois housing administrator who was charged in 1957 with spying for the Soviet Union, died of cancer today in his Prague exile, his wife said. He was 88 years old.

Mr. Stern and his wife, Martha Dodd Stern, left the United States in 1953 after being accused of subversive anti-American activities. They were indicted in absentia on espionage charges on Sept. 9, 1957.

The indictment charged them with conspiring to act as Soviet agents, receiving American military, commercial and industrial information and transmitting it to the Soviet Union.

Mr. Jarrett continually shone a light on African American history and pertinent issues in Chicago and throughout the country. He stoked the political embers in Chicago that led to the 1983 election of the city's first African American mayor, Harold Washington.
Vernon Jarrett was a key influence in Washington's decision to run for the Chicago mayoralty and remained a key supporter through his four year tenure.
Harold Washington defeated the Daley machine to win the mayoralty backed by a coalition led by Chicago's Communist Party USA and the local branch of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

DSA member and socialist historian Paul Buhle, wrote in a 1992 article for the Encyclopedia of the American Left[8];

Communists also gained from long-standing political contacts in the black community. Victories of black mayoral and congressional candidates with decades — old ties to the CP — a short list would include Coleman Young and George Crocket in Detroit, Gus Newport in Berkeley, and somewhat more ambiguously, Harold Washington in Chicago.''

The files were obtained by Judicial Watch as part of its probe “into the Jarrett family’s Communist ties,” the group reported.

“For a period of time Vernon Jarrett appeared on the FBI’s Security Index and was considered a potential Communist saboteur who was to be arrested in the event of a conflict with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). His FBI file reveals that he was assigned to write propaganda for a Communist Party front group in Chicago that would ‘disseminate the Communist Party line among … the middle class,'” the report said.

Judicial Watch called Valerie Jarrett, “a liberal extremist who wields tremendous power in the White House. Faithful to her roots, she still has connections to many Communist and extremist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood. Jarrett and her family also had strong ties to Frank Marshal Davis, a big Obama mentor and Community Party member with an extensive FBI file.”

She previously has been exposed for her role in the Department of Justice gun-running scandal called “Fast and Furious,” and also when she was, according to JW, a “key player in the effort to cover up that “Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress about the Fast and Furious.”

Under that program, the government let guns be smuggled illegally to drug cartels in Mexico. The purported goal was to trace the guns and their use, but the government simply lost track of them.
But WND was first to report, Jarrett’s mother, Barbara Taylor Bowman, founded an education initiative alongside the family of unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers’ that was funded by Ayers, Obama and ultimately the 2009 “stimulus” legislation.


WND also reported earlier Valerie Jarrett in 1987 got her start in politics, working for Washington as deputy corporation counsel for finance and development. She was deputy chief of staff for Mayor Richard Daley, during which time she hired Michelle Robinson, then engaged to Obama.

WND reported just recently that Obama critics have suspected that the president’s “tilt toward Iran” in negotiations over that rogue nation’s nuclear program is because of the influence of Valeria Jarrett, who was born there.

Retired Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin, former deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence under President George W. Bush, spotlighted Jarrett’s influence in a Fox News interview in February.

“There are many who are now saying that [Jarrett] is really the architect of this non-treaty with the Iranians,” he said, “which ultimately will result in the Iranians having a nuclear program, and America having to accept a nuclear-armed Iran.”

BARBARA TAYLOR BOWMAN-

Bowman was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Laura Dorothy Vaughn (née Jennings) and Robert Rochon Taylor, who was on the board of the Chicago Housing Authority. Her grandfather was architect Robert Robinson Taylor.[3] Her parents were African-American.[4] After receiving a B.A. degree from Sarah Lawrence College, she began teaching at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools' nursery school, while simultaneously earning her M.A. degree in education from the University of Chicago in 1952.[5] She went on to teach at preschools and elementary schools.

Bowman was married to the late James E. Bowman, renowned pathologist and geneticist of African American descent, and the first black resident at St. Luke’s Hospital. They have one daughter, Valerie Jarrett, who was Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison in the Obama administration.[9] Their granddaughter, Laura Jarrett, graduated from Harvard Law School in 2010 and married Tony Balkissoon, who is also a lawyer and the son of Ontario MP Bas Balkissoon, in June of 2012.[10]ALSO

I've read that Barack Obama used his 8 years to lay the groundwork for Hillary to do something major that would transform the United States.

A lot of what Obama did must have been hidden from the public.

Down the drain isn't good enough. They might re-group in the sewer and come back with a vengeance. We need to ensure that it's Trump 2021, and a STRONG Trump-friendly Republican majority in the House, Senate, and the Supreme Court.

I wonder about that book he wrote, The Audacity of Hope. It was a set up to help get him elected. Even though I'm sure the election was rigged. But he had to appear to be popular with the voters so his win wouldn't look suspicious. And Oprah endorsed that book and his run before he even announced it. She has to be involved in this on a much deeper level. Is she another operative

Thanks for the post. I knew some but not all of that. VJ’s connections to Iran go much deeper than noted here.
In an unrelated noted the Austin in Sidley Austin was my Uncle Ed. He died back in the 70’s. More of a great uncle, he was my grandparents age. I remember playing golf with him as a kid. After he and his wife (Marion) died my grandmother bought their house on Lake Michigan in the north burbs of Chicago and lived there til she died 20 some years ago.

He would not have approved of either of the Obamas in any way.
