Someone Tried to Mess with My Facebook

First off, i dont like fb, what it has become at least.

I also rarely ever use it. In fact, the only reason i dont have it deactivated is because everytime i log in here on ATS, through the fb log in, it "reactivates" the fb account. Genuinely frustrating.

Anyway, here's a screenshot of the message I got on facebook when i went to log in to get onto my ATS account. Looks like someone in Singapore.




If any one knows of a way to change log in credentials and method here on ATS, from facebook log in to regular log in, id like to know.


forgot to add that singapore may just be the final hop in a vpn trail.

Someone signed in to your account using the iPhone device through the wtr-assistant app

Changed gmail pw, but not the acct for that place I mean I dont ever use it, I guess some Russia is having a great time playing my acct.

Probably Chinese using VPN to make it look like Russians. The Chinese have the market cornered on hacking video game accounts.

Kinda interesting...because World of Tanks' direct competitor is WarThunder which is owned by Gaijin. Russians hacking into Russian accounts?

Fun times.

I had problems with my Steam account, so I set up that double confirmation thing. But all my account hacks originated in Brazil.

How about just finding all of the e-meddlers around the world and use this on all of their equipment:

So amazon data services was trying to sign into my fb account. Im guessing this isnt normal.

Funny because just yesterday, right before this happened, I was talking about how Zucc and Bezos are androids.

I use 2 step authentication on every account for every platform i use , i get like 25 to 50 breach attempts on my main email account every week , even after checking now upon reading this thread i count atleast 20 attempts in 3 days only.

I don't like Facebook or any of their products so I use the "Completely Block Facebook" additions to my HOST file on my laptop. I don't do the smartphone thing either so I'm not sure how it works on a phone. I get server not found for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and the Facebook related social media buttons that also track you.

The guy updates the various files occasionally.

I've gotten used to it and only occasionally miss a few photos or videos in news stories.

Here is a tip for ya. Also I mean no offense. It is common knowledge that anyone can get your IP. But don’t ever post it. Also never use your FB account as a alternative for a log. Unless you are using a VPN you pretty much just gave away your identity. I would ask a MOD to remove this thread.

So don't use the facebook login method. I never do. What am I missing here?

Facebook, google, or other social media, are the only way to register. I don't even know why there is a login/password field.
