A Saudi Arabian woman got the right to drive, then she got an iconic American muscle car built in Michigan as a gift from Ford Motor Co. Sahar Hasan Nasif, 64, a retired English literature professor, took ownership of a bright yellow 2018 Ford Mustang GT convertible on Monday. It was 20 years after she had fallen in love with the Mustang and just days after Saudi Arabian women got the right to drive in the country.
On Monday, Nasif was the guest of honor at a ceremony in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co., Ford’s distributor in Saudi Arabia, gave her the car.
"She was interviewed by the BBC and she was quoted saying, 'I’m going to buy my dream car, a convertible Ford Mustang in yellow and black,' ” said Sue Nigoghossian, a Ford Middle East and Africa spokeswoman. "This got a lot of buzz in international and social media. We heard, and it was only natural that we answered."

A first time female, senior citizen driver... yeah, something with that much horsepower as their first car is a wonderful idea. Nothing can possibly go wrong here. Best case scenario, the accident isn't so catastrophic that the Saudis immediately reinstate the driving ban.

Yea, mustangs don't really hold value either for the price point they're at...
I'd take a WRX over a mustang any day of the week. If I'm going American made though I like the dodge muscle cars.

www.topgear.com...
Yes, $90K is a lot to pay for a ride I can only drive 3 months out of the year, I don't care, it would be well worth it.
