You need consensus with 15% of the total population to start a revolution.
You need or would want 5% of the top 10% of the worlds financial elite to at least hear you out for a pitch. Maybe less with todays sporadic venture
capitalists. Money.
Then you need time. Dont die, dont get the wrong people killed, and outlast the attrition.
If in less than 10 years you kept momentum, and increased your base, then you can consider the tides turned. A "zero" point of support for your
movement will start to grow in the majority of people and they will perceive your success as being an institution in its own right.
25% of the total population's support gets people listening without making them nervous.
That brings interest from the formerly opposed or reserved powers you once needed to contend with.
Then things are different, but they started changing at the zero point. The moment everyone started seeing the movement as an established force and
not just a minor flash in the pan vying power.
From there let history be the judge and your audacity be the limit to how far your support grows.
