False, it's not. It's not collusion when every owner has the same opinion.

Collusion...

: secret agreement or cooperation especially for an illegal or deceitful purpose

www.merriam-webster.com...

You just can't back up your fallacious statements.

BOOM.

You really should quit while you're behind. If you don't know the meaning of such easy words as "forced" and "collusion" you don't have much of an argument. Only "fallacious" opinion.

I don't know how you are so unable to understand. If I go to 10 interviews and my criminal record prevents me from getting the job that doesn't mean there was collusion, it means they all had the same belief.

The only boom is your inability to understand the arguments being made. NO owner wanted Colin, there was no collusion.

Fact: They created a policy.
Fact: They did indeed care.

You have nothing. It's tiresome for you to keep saying the same crap and not backing any of it up. Back something up, until then I see no need to continue your embarrassment.

Their employers also didn't have a problem with their actions.

Wrong.. If they didnt care why doesnt Kapernik have a job?

He refuses to answer that. He also refuses to answer why they created a specific policy against it if they did not care.

Then he says Colin not having a job can't have anything to do with his politics because it's collusion if it is .. which he refuses to elaborate how it would be collusion.

Cripes. Another one that doesn't know what's going on. Keep reading. You'll get your answer. And many took a knee and they're still employed.

Well because it destroys his argument.

What? So why do you think he does not have a job. A guy that took a team to the superbowl cant even get a backup or 3rd string job.

Explain it..

I am enjoying every twist and turn in this "on going saga".

I think it is getting far more entertaining than watching an N F L football game. Which I will not be doing again this year; by the way.

Most people aren't watching football to be reminded of the bullsnip happening in the country or in the world. They're watching it as an escape.
It's a sport field, not a platform for social commentary.

)

so wouldnt it make more sense to not have the players stand at all?
better yet why even play the anthem at a sports game?

its a game. an escape. a place for sports.
seems like the anthem and standing and the display has no place

As I understand it, the patriotism at sports events was a military recruitment propaganda program -- paid for by the military to NFL owners.

Prior to this, players remained in the locker room til game time.

Then as you understand it is wrong. Players were regularly out on the field for the national Anthem they just were not required to do it. Almost every game every single player was on the sidelines in respect. There is zero evidence of it being a propaganda tool, paid or otherwise.

You have been taken in by Facebook fake news.

I understand forced and not forced.

AKA -- required -- not required.

No, you understand nothing. Players being on the sidelines had to do with timing of certain games, nothing more nothing less. No paid propaganda, stop looking at fake news.

If they do not like their job they can find another. I can't engage in political activism while on the clock without being fired, why are they special again? Why should they be allowed to do what no one else can do? Oh that's right because it aligns with your political affiliation.

Stop ignoring FORCED Patriotism.

Patriotism is not specific to a political affiliation.

No gun to anyone's head. Stop ignoring the fact you are lying, nothing is forced.

Deny -- Deny -- Deny -- all you want.

Forced Patriotism is part of the sports world.

Of course, bottom line, it's really about money.

What a ridiculous charade. One, it's ridiculous to force the player's to stand. Two, it's ridiculous to kneel during an anthem. Three, these are all wealthy and privileged athletes playing sports for vast sums of cash. Just let it end.

The NFLPA complaint has pretty much nothing to do with the actual act of standing or not for the anthem.. why make this into something it isn't. The NFL should have when this first started, laid down a policy and hammered it out with the NFLPA, but they moronically did nothing. Not that fans cared a whole lot. Believe me, any loss of viewership has a -lot- more to do with ill-conceived rules, poor reffing, and crappy prime time game decisions (like.. horrid Thursday night football).

This wasn't even a thing until Trump tried to get some measure of revenge on the NFL. That is ALL this was about. And Trump true to his fashion, fired up his constituents to make them think it was somehow a shot at service men and woman. It's also ironic that the person who penned the song was pro-slavery, and as anti-black as you could probably get. Probably 99% of Americans can't recite any of the other verses of the song. But love to get fake outraged by athletes who kneel during it. Because Trump told them they should be.

What the hell kind of idiotic argument are you using?

If the owners colluded to keep him out of the league doesnt that mean they care?

Otherwise why "collude" to do it? You are making no sense ..

Oh, so enforced morality is ok, as long as the right is directing it?

Tyrannical nonsense.

Forced morality? forcing patriotism? you guys come up wit the dumbest arguments.

They are not forcing them to be moral, they are forcing them to stand up.

They are not forcing anyone to be a patriot, they are forcing them to stand up.

By your idiotic logic only the ones standing are moral and patriotic?

Actually they never forced them to stand up. Ever. They should have... or let them stay in the locker room, the way they used to. But they originally never forced them to stand up, and this newest rule also does not force them to stand up. They would either stay in the locker room, OR... be on the field and stand, OR... if not.. their team is fined.
