I didn't see this posted anywhere and thought many of you would enjoy it. I always loved Winnie the pooh and must see this, says the child whithin.

I'm not necessarily dissing the movie, but I've already formed a creepy fan theory about it.

Clearly from the previews, adult Christopher Robin is under a good deal of stress. So given the very different personalities of all the Pooh characters, my theory is that Chris's personality is fragmenting. He's having a breakdown, and when the characters have to go "save" him, what's really going on is his psyche trying to piece itself back together using old childhood paradigms.

Ewan McGregor is a star, no matter what.

ETA I'd like to see this movie.

Thanks for sharing this interesting concept
You could be right. I hope you're wrong, as imagination turning out to be pure illusion in the end is one of my least favourite movie tropes. Magic and wonder are what we all want to see in film, not dour reality lol

I saw the trailer and thought one thing. "Winnie the Pooh would make a perfect movie for my grandson's first."
He's not 3 until Nov but I think he's old enough. My son was the same age when I took him to Aladdin.
