ever hear of air/pressure in the coolant system causing a car to miss?

ok so the air/low coolant is the problem but it wasnt the root cause.
it was fine for several days then it happened again.

when i gt home i popped the hood and i could see the problem.
there is a small hairline crack on the very top of my radiator by the bracket. the coolant/water was spraying out in a fine mist. so that caused the coolant to get low which caused my other problem.
so i need to replace the radiator. i put some high temp plastic weld on it to hold for a week or so.
