I actually got pestered by my teachers and the school to make sure I was on top of things.

Also the other reason I prefered online... I could sit in my boxers sipping scotch while listening to the lecture, or doing my homework.

Find me a brick and mortar where I can do that and ill go there for my masters.

The point would be, that Trump hasn't named anyone yet. Wouldn't the prudent move be to actually have a name to fuss about??

Just sayin'.

But he has put out lists of people he would pick from since the 2016 campaign. Even putting out a short list this past week of 3 he was heavily considering.

I'm about to go back to school on the GI Bill.

Honestly, I have no idea how I'm going to make it 4 years without getting kicked out. It's a matter of time before I hurt someone's feelings with the truth.

Rofl same way you got through the military shut up and color. It REALLY isnt hard to not start things. You would have to go out of your way to do so.

I’m sure there are many on these boards who agree, at this very moment, that the POTUS 45 SCOTUS selection to replace Justice Kennedy is racist, hates babies, has 14,000 guns, and wants to immediately overturn RvW. Oh wait...POTUS 45 hasn’t even made that decision yet!

My girlfriends a staunch Trump-hating liberal, i asked her how she felt about Trumps SCOTUS pick, "He's picked another racist and they're going to overturn Roe v Wade." I told her he hasn't even picked yet (with a displeased chuckle).
She then doubled down and claimed, "I saw his short list of picks and there's some racists on there."

I'm going to go for a hike now and re-evaluate some things.

OP, you realize you're talking about adults. College students are over 18 years old and that makes them adults. What difference does it make whether they got a job as a pipe fitter out of high school or went to school to be a doctor, or joined the military. All are American adults who can vote, and all opinions are equally valid.

Trumps track record of choices for advisers, campaign managers, cabinet posts and other top positions in his government display a pattern of choice clearly pointing to ''yes'' men in their eyes. It is easy to suppose or to assume that what you drop in a toilet will come out the other side the same toxic sludge.

We learned that was true with Obama... And his pick of Sonia Sotomayor.

The last time I checked, whining about who the next Justice will be does absolutely nothing.

Trump will pick, the senate will decide, and that will be the end of it.

Trump will not change his mind and nominate a leftist activist to the Supreme Court. No matter how many people whine and complain.

The senate will vote and thanks to Harry Reid, only needs 51 votes to secure the person.

Democrats will vote for him/her especially those in red states to secure their next election.

I'm going to go outside and yell at some clouds and maybe the wind. See what good that'll do.

Make sure you're wearing your pink cowboy hat.

Can't wait. Then lets see what happens to Roe verses Wade.

I think we can expect a conservative Judge, that's a given.

I would prefer a Constitutionalist judge. To be honest I don't even know what Conservative means anymore if we go by our elected officials who say they are but in reality are global oligarchs.

Let's say Trump does pick someone who he thinks will toe what ever line it is he wants toed...

The Supreme Court is a lifetime appointment...and some of them have had a disconcerting habit, to the President who picked 'em anyway, of going their own way.

Some who were, supposedly, with impeccable liberal or conservative credentials have proven, over time, to be anything but liberal or conservative.

So, might I suggest we wait and see? Or do we really need to see another Robert Bork fiasco? Y'know, tried in the court of public opinion?

will be in charge of the country one day.

FACT check: A degree doesn't guarantee any special prowess in navigating the cut throat world of political power.

The students that go to college, just need to go to college.

In better days past, Uni's were where political movements started with a view to overthrow oppressive regimes.

These days they are pawns of George Soros.

en.wikipedia.org...

Well, they need to stay out of politics, and go to school. Stop putting their own two cents in, when they have NO CLUE what they are whining about

So only specially educated clued in people get to talk? Sounds like some 3rd world South American dictatorship you're pining for.

insider.foxnews.com...

3 people were interviewed. "The world is ending"

Just because someone decides to go to Uni doesn't guarantee they had any idea how the real world works.

A more serious observation would be that if these people are in Uni - how much more easier it is to dupe the general population!

You've all been conned!

College students have a long history of political activism why should they stop now ?

You are correct. I can speak as one from back in my day
Times here in the US have changed,
We never protested an appointed or elected official UNTIL they were named
We had common sense back then
Something sorely lacking in the US students today.

One does not need a poll
All one has to do is keep up with current US happenings
And , it is not just students.
Seems to be a majority of a certain demographic in which a lot of today's students are in.
