Makes for some good stories especially UFO/Para encounters over war zones.

War forces us to innovate. Our present technological society exists largely due to advances we made in 20th Century wars.

War allows us to see what humanity really is. It's an extreme event that brings out the worst and the best of us. War gives us villains, but also heroes among the most ordinary of us. It reinforces what we value.

In the old days, war mixed humanity's DNA and made us the tough smart animals we are today. It helped us move past old and stagnant cultures and ideas and force an ongoing social evolution that went with the physical.

War is entertaining. Half of the stories we write and listen to are about war - real and fictional and in-between. And humanity is all about stories.

Presently war has been used by factions to conquer land and resources , and decide what social class runs each society..

I figure you can break all societies up into a few groups..

Your aristocracy.

Your merchant class.

Your various coalitions of the peasantry..
Sometimes it is the military peasants..
Sometimes labor groups of the peasants..



Then all the wars are fought afraid the ruling class of another country might help topple the ruling class of a home country..
