Couldn't have said it better myself! There are few things that would cause me to fear for my safety so much that I'd be forced to use force defensively against another person, and this is one of them.

At this point the violent civil discourse has been overwhelmingly committed and advocated by the Democrats and the left end of the poltical spectrum. If I were that kids parent, I would press charges for assault and battery and also sue him and the food chain in civil court. All civil and completely legal reactions to this incident.
