OK, this is just bizarre:

Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians during nuclear deal: Iran official

The Obama administration granted citizenship to 2,500 Iranians, including family members of government officials, while negotiating the Iran nuclear deal, a senior cleric and member of parliament has claimed.

Hojjat al-Islam Mojtaba Zolnour, who is chairman of Iran’s parliamentary nuclear committee and a member of its national security and foreign affairs committee, made the allegations during an interview with the country’s Etemad newspaper, cited by the country’s Fars News agency.

He claimed it was done as a favor to senior Iranian officials linked to President Hassan Rouhani, and he alleged the move sparked a competition among Iranian officials over whose children would benefit from the scheme.

He claimed that the deal was made during negotiations for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which was reached in July 2015. President Trump announced in May that the U.S. would withdraw from the agreement.

So, the Iranians got planeloads of cash AND free US citizenship?! And the US got a smile and a likely-empty promise to halt development of nuclear waepons. Heck of a good deal there, Mr. Obama.

Yup. This is our good ol' fellow Obama.

Handling over the U.S. and its money to foreigners in return of his own profit.

Hard to believe this little deal wasn't released at the time of the deal considering how his party is the champion of immigration.
He would have been applauded would he not?

It just follows the examples of the TPP and the Paris climate agreement.
Kind of makes you wander who Obama was actually working for, because it obviously wasn't America.

Obama was a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I came so very close to voting for him in his first election. That is a side of history I am so very thankful to not be on.

There was article over the weekend that openly accused Obama of being a Manchurian candidate.

For sure, when you set aside his words and look at his actions, he seems to have consistently worked against US interests.

A few reasons:

- Racism. They feel like they can't criticize him because he's black.
- Blind idolization. Obama was a messiah to some people after 8 years of Bush, same way Trump is a messiah to some after 8 years of Obama
- Party above country

Trump probably wouldn't and probably didn't ,seeing as one of his first things was to ban any movement from there . Hard to say is any of them made it to the US to get their new cards . They might be in a holding pattern stuck at 30,000 feet wanting to make it legal . Do like they even need to be on US soil to be sworn in ?///

Allegedly, but oddly enough this is almost impossible to fact check as I'm only finding articles that state almost verbatim what fox has stated.

Where is the interview with Etemad? I'd inhale bleach before I gave Fox the benefit of the doubt.

Here's one reason.

Them wanting to wipe one of our allies off the map is another reason. I

Even without either of those, I'm really not comfortable with the idea of them having nuclear weapons. Are you?

Fox news said its true, so it is?

You are able to demonstrate why facts are objectively true.

I am assuming you believe this to be true, so you should have no problem objectively demonstrating so.

I eagerly await.
