That's because socialism always has a ruling class. As poor as most Venezuelans are, the ruling class is doing very, very well. It was the same in the USSR and is the same in Cuba and China.

Venezuela is not completely socialist. There are plenty of private businesses. That is why there is a ruling class. There are oligarchs in Venezuela. You cannot have oligarchs under Socialism.

Man, i don't live in the US, but i can see some common things going on around the world. People been livin in a bad situation for too long (relative to what you consider a bad situation). They are starting to get angry with the "system", and sooner or later they are going to demand changes, but i dont think they can beat the rulling power. They are going to become what TPTB wants they to become, wether it is a communist or whatever economic system.

My point is: if the majority of the people get to the point where they want communism, TPTB will give them "communism".

Unlike most countries around the world our 2nd amendment is a checks and balance the people have against the government. Socialism will never be accepted and if the left wants to spark a civil war trying to make it a reality they will go down in history alongside the Confederate States of America and Jefferson Davis.

and the world wonders why we have a 2nd amendment and refuse to give it up.
