There is medical value in weed. Hmmm. There is medical value in heroin, coc aine, lsd, morphine, howd that work out?
Well morphine and diacetyl morphine, are pretty much the same, except diamorphine is about 3 times more potent. But morphine is used quite extensively
and without issue and heroin is used in some palliative care facilities.
Cocaine was used quite extensively as a local anaesthetic till less addictive alternatives were introduced.
Lysergic Acid Diethylamide 25 was only sparingly tested and to good results. But the euphoria was deemed a negative aspect, so they determined a way
to increase serotonin without the synergistic pleasurable effects and created SSRIs. And instead of serotonin being created, they discovered that
inhibiting the reuptake had a similar outcome, but now people are taking mind altering things every day for years, to varied negative outcomes and
none of the 'fresh new start' the afterglow of a sufficient dose of psychedelics provide.
What was your point about weed again?
