I understand why people would brush this off, that makes sense. This social war isn't constructed/ive of sense though... So I understand why people are willing to grasp the low hanging fruit. it's fire with fire. Although I consider maxine's practice of being a racist to be way worse.



I don't see this as progressive. It could be though. Taking shots at Maxine could put her off her game. Always better ways to go about it but I wont be bitching about this nonsense.

I don't agree with the tactics used to make maxine look bad, she's great doing that herself (if you the person watching isn''t a fool / moron). I just wont complain though. If she is going to straw dog most of her arguments then she can deal with the frustration of it herself.

I don't stand with Maxine and I think she was inciting violence, as many have written on here, but where is the assault?

Back in the Sixties, in a WSU Civil Liberties, Poly Sci class, we had one of the litigants of the Texas Carousel case where an Airport cafeteria employee, banged a tray in front of a black man to dissuade him from standing in line. The Litigant won that case, as a tray being slapped down on the slide rails in front of you, constituted a viable threat of violence. If Mad Maxy was threatening violence, then heck yes, arrest her! But is that floozie ever going to be much of a threat to any healthy young fox? But the Congresswoman knew the victim, and that makes any threat more viable.

It depends on state law--some laws specificy the difference between intentional and incidental contact, but some states ignore the difference or make lawyers argue it in front of the jury.

Regardless, this is a silly lawsuit. And trust me, I despise Maxine Waters--with a passion--but my money is on it getting thrown out, and not just because she's a congresswoman.

I do wonder what maxines intent was.
