RIP Vinnie Paul of Pantera-Hellyeah

Drummer Vinnie Paul, co-founder of metal band Pantera, has died. Currently a member of Hellyeah, Paul was 54.

His representative confirmed the legendary drummer’s death to Billboard, but added that no further details are available at this time.

Sad to read about one of the greats leaving us.
Long live the diamond bag!!! Got lucky to see them in Texas one time when I was 17. SHHHH don’t tell that to the bouncer though.

Was shocked when I saw the news that he died. Was a kickass drummer.

Shocking and sad news to find on my social media feed this morning.

The only positive thing I can say about it, is that I would hope that his friends and family take some comfort from the fact that at least Vinnie no longer mourns his brother.

May he keep the afterlife noisy.

Vinnie, was good friend and a truly kind soul. I got the news this morning and was devastated.
