You can always tell a lot about person by if they have walls around their dwelling.

That is what I always thought too. When I lived in SoCal I felt like I was living in a prison as I didn't see any property without a fence for about 3-4 months. It gives a very unwelcoming feeling.

Nothing wrong with having walls for security. I am talking about an actual house.
