Interesting turn of events here. Manafort, who was put into jail for violating the terms of his bond, has been put into the "vip" section of the jail over fears that he may suffer harm.

He was also denied his $10M bond.

So what does ATS think? Is it justified given his status or are there different sets of rules for different social classes?

solitary confinement is not VIP treatment and you usually do not have access to commissary in there, nothing VIP about it

VIP treatment would be being held in a totally different facility which is normally protocol however the elite are trying to send a message to Trump, which makes me want to trust Trump even more

Anything in a jail or prison could not be considered VIP as we understand the term. Was quoting the article.

in high profile murders like this the guards if not directly involved will usually set it up, many of them are covertly involved with the prison gangs already anyway

He will have commissary privileges. He's not in solitary as punishment. Well he's in jail as punishment but this situation is for his protection so he would be able to buy toothpaste and Pringles when ever he wanted.
