Well, apart from your reply being highly condescending, I don't recall the OP saying it was aliens. It's obvious from the shot that the phone camera was zoomed in, when you look at the location of the fire escape in relation to the wind turbine. And, for one last time, the 'objects' are eliptical/oval and not round!

Round rainbows? Go look on Google and see your round rainbows and then look for eliptical or oval rainbows and see what you get. It's a pity your zest for the UFO phenomenon has been knocked out of you by what was probably outside influences. Anyway, who says that aliens would be flying around the galaxy in big mother ship? They could be a lot closer than you think.

Thank you for doing some of the legwork. My wife doesn't work at Mark's and Spencer she runs Aspects Holidays, which is on the other side of the industrial estate overlooking the rural area between the the business park and Angarrack.

As already mentioned, there are no lights to reflect off of particularly at 2pm in the afternoon. The sun is quite bright at that time of day! (sorry couldn't resist)

It's this type of closed minded response that causes many pictures such as mine to be left in a file on a computer hard drive never to see the light of day.

You aren't looking at the bigger picture, part of my reason for posting was because of the similarity of the two objects to that of photos of orbs. Only difference these orbs are outside, I never stated they were solid craft, whoever, whatever, if anything, is visiting us there is no reason, other than our own arrogance, to assume they will be traveling around in a solid craft with a conventional engine, steering wheel and a banging sound system.

It's a shame you have become so clouded and closed your mind off to the infinite possibilities an infinite universe would offer.

Would it be possible to get another photo taken from that exact (as possible) location, at more or less the same time of day? That could help getting an idea of the conditions at the time, although the Sun will be in a different position.

Check...I got the POV...



Now if I look behind me in Google maps there is one thing that stands out a little...



Look at the isolators (or whatever you call those disk around the power line)...

My theory:

I'm using streetview so you would have been behind the powerlines. From an elevated position the power lines would probably be in the lower part of the photo. With the sun in your back, those concave disks would be reflecting the sunlight in your direction. Because of the level of zoom you didn't get the power lines in the frame but the reflection hit the lens and was so bright that it found it's way onto the CCD..

I'll go and see if I can pick this pic apart because nothing would please me more than to find out I'm wrong but the org. pic would certainly help...

(for what it's worth, I'm glad you posted this picture and I am also of the opinion that everybody should post any and all pictures that are suspect because only by looking hard we will find what we are looking for.. )

I think operation mindcrime is confusing things because of what you wrote on this post:

I will post a recent picture of the fire escape where she was stood to take the original photo.

the objects have an almost 'larval' or pupae-type look to me.

I can see where you're going with this but the position of the ceramic plates in relation to one another is different to the position of the disputed objects in the OP, in relation to one another.

Indeed I was waiting for all the photo's but I (hopefully) found the fire escape the OP mentioned...



Red square is the fire escape

Blue square is the power line mentioned earlier.



From above:



The red square is the position of the photographer and the red arrow is the direction the photo was taken (approx.)

Blue square is once again the power line..



From the street behind the building:



Those plastic caps could have been directly in line of sight and reflecting back at the photographer because the sun was in his/her back..

If it's reflection or not will be almost impossible to prove..

Only thing I can advise the OP to do is wait for:

10/28/2018 to come around and around 14:02 take a picture in the same direction and hopefully the sun will be bright enough to create the same effect...

(exif data show it was taken on 28/10/2013 at 02:02 on an Iphone 5 with no flash)

(NOAA reports an average temperature between 52 and 55F and an average precipitation 0,13in on that day in 2013)

But I don't think what we see in the photo is some kind of light reflecting on the glass insulators, as I don't see how that could happen.

So am I, but from a different point of view.

We know there was a rainbow on the photo, so the Sun was in the opposite direction.

Now that we know (apparently) the location and the date we can use that information in a program like Stellarium that will show the Sun's position at that moment at that location. According to Stellarium, the Sun 30º west of south (sorry for the way I'm trying to explain the Sun's position, but I don't know what words should be used), represented on the image below as an yellow arrow.



If the image above is right then the photo couldn't have been taken from the top of the stairs, but there's a window on the north side of that building from where the photo could have been taken. The image you posted on this post also shows that the windmill is to the north of that building.

As this goes against what was said in the opening post we need confirmation from shinzaun's wife from where the photo was really taken.
